"What an incredible coincidence! We stayed at this same hotel in the same room 8 years ago! Last time, the little bed in the corner wasn’t necessary for a couple, but this time we came with our 2 year old son who loved sleeping in his first real bed! The new indoor pool is a luxurious addition since our 2016 stay and this time we splurged for the in-room breakfast, which was so copious and delicious that we haven’t been hungry for the rest of the day! More than worth the additional charge! "

"We had a very nice stay , and we were upgraded to executive room which was lovely , unfortunately it looked out onto the main road which was being dug up and majorly overhauled and the noise from machinery until they stopped was rather loud . It restarted at 8am but luckily we were just waking up anyway . The staff were very helpful and helped us find parking as road disrupted and breakfast was very nice . "Overnight stop on way to ferry so room on second floor was fine and private off road parking appreciated. Usual amenities with good water pressure and plentiful hot water. Dinner served in enclosed charming outdoor terrace area and beautifully cooked food although a plethora of bouche amusants offered in addition to three course menu which bordered on unnecessary. It seems that smoking on such a dining terrace is still normal in France as it is open to the air. Breakfast was good for pastries...
