Motomachi Shopping Street

Good location in terms of Universal studios - a bit of a hike to the front gate, like ~15 min walk with kids. Surrounds are not very interesting and there isn’t much else there. We walked / took the free ferry over to the area around the aquarium which we and our kids enjoyed but it does take a while. The hotel is very good and the themed rooms are a bit of fun. One of the 4 single beds in our room was quite noisy and the breakfast options for westerners wasn’t fantastic (although the kids might disagree with this statement as there was ice cream and coke available 😆). Overall a good choice for a universal trip.

It's a new hotel. The location is in between 2 stations so you can choose base on where you want to go or which one's convenient for you. A few steps away from Namba Shrine, convenient store and Cat Cafe. It was a nice area, quiet for a night sleep after a long shopping and sightseeing day. Everything is accessible and very easy to go anywhere. Staff are extremely helpful, lovely and friendly even with little English, they will try their best to help. Loved the washing machine and dryer, we have the supplies we need for our stay. We'll stay here again if we go back to Osaka. They are also very responsive if you email them with luggage storage before check in and accommodating for storage after check out, we were able to go out for a bit to eat lunch before catching our train to our next destination. Convenient to Universal Studios, dining options at City Walk and Universal City Station. Rooms were very clean and tidy, however only 4 single beds provided for a family of 5, when booked for 5.
