The hotel is quite a taxi ride from the nearest train station, and not convenient to other services such as convenience stores. It is beautiful, with an elegant modern bath, spacious entry and closet. BUT, the comfort level is minimal unless you are seeking a traditional Japanese experience. The matress is a 3 inch mattress on the floor, making it difficult to get in and out if you're on the senior side. There are no chairs or tables, so the options for relaxing are either lay down or sit on the floor.
The staff was very nice, thought they never told us to leave the key when we left the hotel, so we didn't get a room refresh until we requested it about 9:00pm....and then a very quick exchange of towels and collection of trash.
