Asked for a quiet room and was dismissively given one overlookin the street, noisy in and of itself, worse when the balcny door doesnt fully close.. Was woken up at 4am each morningby trash trucks (except on Thanksgiving) and noise got progressively louder.. Room was ok but dated and just shabby.

My stay in New Orleans was exquisite. This hotel was in the perfect location for all the French Quarter sites to see and shopping. The only recommendation I would give is to check the water heaters. Because I did not have hot water two days in a row. And also the toilet was not flushing thoroughly the first time he had to flush it at least three times.

We love the Hotel Provincial, so much that we were married there years ago. There are many other hotels, but we have found the Provincial to be a good deal for us. The staff is very, very friendly.

Great location for walking the French Quarter. Staff was very helpful and accommodating when there was an issue with our original room. If you have the option - request Building Five for your room. The French Toast restaurant is on the first floor of Buliding 5 and was also very good!

Perfect location to everything one loves about the French Quarter but far enough to sleep peacefully. Staff were all pleasant, room was modern and clean. A pool and courtyard for chatting with fellow travelers. Will return!
