I booked the half-board stay at Tsubaki using Expedia and the staff at Tsubaki was in contact with me almost immediately to confirm the details and finalize the pick up time from Yufuin Station. "Nice property just off the main street, near train station. It is pet friendly with 3 resident cats roaming around the lobby. You get to book 2 sessions at the baths after checked in, the semi open bath on the 2nd level is popular, while the rooftop bath may not be a good idea in cold weather although the view is great. You get free use of the bicycles for your stay. There is no lift so you have to carry your luggages up and down the stairs."
