"This place is fantastic! The room was big and super nice, with a view of the snowy forest. It was exceptionally clean. The highlight of the experience was the onsen. The grand bath is huge, and the views from it are incredible. Overlooking beautiful trees and hell valley from the onsens. There were 7 indoor baths for both male and female (different minerals and temperatures). And then 4 outdoor baths for females and 5 or 6 outdoor baths for males. There are also two types of sauna and cold water bath. You can sit in a hot outdoor bath, looking out at the snow and drink sake from a floating tray. The scale of the grand bath is just mind blowing. We spent hours there and really felt the benefits. Muscles got relaxed, skin felt soft and healed, circulation improved. Overall amazing! We stayed two nights and wished we could stay there longer."

"Stayed in Japanese Traditional Room with Private Open Air Bath. The pictures on Expedia are a true representation of the accommodation but the stay was even better than anticipated. Kaiseki meal in private dining room was wonderful and showcased a lot of the local food. The tatami room and sitting area in the room was nice and relaxing and the futons were perfectly set by the time we returned after dinner. The balcony onsen was a lovely warm contrast to the chilly wintry air. The public baths were also very clean and had a variety of temperatures for both inside and outside. Very close walk to the temple and Hell Valley. Included breakfast was also very delicious with impeccable service. Sad to have only stayed one night!"

"In room private onsen is nice. Buffet dinner and breakfast by the hotel also offer good variety and good taste. Good view of Lake Toya from room. "

"Excellent guesthouse with very well equipped kitchen, complete with stove and rice cooker. Few minutes walk from train station with nearby supermarket and a few restaurants. It was a fantastic location, for early train departures. Bus to Noboritbetsu Onsen outside the train station. I especially liked all the tourist information they made available for guests, not just about the area but also of Hokkaido. "

"This is a beautiful property with lake Toya on one side and Yoteii mountain on the other. The rooms are the largest we have seen in Japan with a beautiful sitting area and large bathroom with a huge tub both overlooking Lake Toya! This made for excellent firework viewing from the room for the local festival. They also had a nice common area in the hotel with some tables, coffee, tea and hot water to use. The location was convenient to drive to Toyaka Onsen town for food, but also to Rusutsu for skiing. "

"Conveniently located at the lower slope of Noboribetsu. Price is affordable but lift is small and slow. Onsen is a indoor and an outdoor with no views. Room is clean, spacious with plenty of charging plugs in the room. Bed, pillow and duvet is soft and comfortable. We had a wonderful sumptuous Japanese breakfast with mixture of western delights. You do have to walk up a slope to reach the Carpark. If you want an affordable place to stay, here is a good recommendation."
