"This was in a pretty good location! They offered breakfast options and waters in our room on the first day (nothing was ever refilled though like they had originally told us). They provide soap, shampoo and conditioner in all of the showers. There were a pair of spa slippers for each person which was cute. The floors and bed covers were very dirty though which made the whole experience just feel more run down sadly. "

"Outstanding room, immaculately clean. Had everything and more we needed and the location could not have been better. The bed was extremely comfy and generously sized. I really enjoyed the shower and bathroom too. Exceeded expectations and remarkable value for money. It is not the fault of the apartment but I would say it might be worth recommending guests bring earplugs as the air conditioning units in surrounding businesses are very loud. It did keep me from sleeping."

"This is my second visit to an Apex hotel in Edinburgh; the first one was in the Grassmarket. The service was exceptional and the hotel itself was of a very high standard. I was also delighted to receive an upgrade and free drinks. I was even more delighted to find a small tube of handcream and another of lip balm in my room. Two things that I had forgotten and needed. If I had one tiny complaint, it would be that the queue at reception was very long during check-in and check-out."
