"This was our second time here and they have dog friendly rooms. The lady at the front desk was friendly and upgraded us to a bigger room which was so much better than the one we had booked. It was quite spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We dinner at Inn restaurant which had a lot of choice. Service again was good. They have new EV chargers which we made use of. "

"Had a nights stay as part of my birthday with my granddaughter and her rescued dog Coco. All staff were so welcoming and helpful. Will ask for a room with a sea view next time as the hotel is on the prom. An easy walk to shops and restaurants. A reasonably priced ,clean, comfortable,pet friendly hotel. In particular, the genuine welcome by staff flinterest in Coco was lovely. She could even have breakfast with us in the conservatory, this lead to a really relaxed stay for us all "

"We enjoyed our 1 night stay at Tyn-y-Coed - the location is excellent for walking from the doorstep and the parking is great. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had good storage. The addition of a drying line in the bathroom is a super idea. We loved the styling of decor in reception and the bar/restaurant and enjoyed the Snowdon Lager on draught. We look forward to visiting again. "

The only cable-hauled tramway in Britain, and in fact one of the last remaining in the world, the Great Orme Tramway is one of the most beloved heritage attractions in Wales, carrying in the region of 160,000 passengers every year from Victoria Station in Llandudno to the Summit Station, a distance of around a mile. First opened at the turn of the 20th Century, and preserved in part through funding from the National Lottery and the EU, the tramway operates on a funicular system, whereby each car is attached to the cable that is winched up the hill, the weight of the descending car helping to pull up the one ascending.
