"Family of 4 with 2 teenagers stayed 3 nights. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Hotel is in a good spot so close to subway only 3 stops from central Kyoto, Family Mart maybe 50 metres walk. Very short walk to Kyoto Gyoen National Garden. Room was nice but a bit tight for 4 people, we managed but you would need two rooms if staying for longer than 3 nights. "

The location is excellent, the room has convenient amenities like a washing machine, electric kettle, plates, cutlery, and a fridge, perfect for making tea and having some fruit in the evening. While the level of English at the hotel is poor, they have a robot that provides instant translations. What surprised us was that they charged us in advance for all seven nights, which had never happened to us before. The room wasn't cleaned daily, but they changed the towels...

"Loved this hotel. The location is somewhat off the beaten path, but it was quiet, safe, well-appointed and central. Bus and taxi transportation is really easy in Kyoto, so not being as close to a train station wasn't a big deal. We had a very nice stay and would stay again."
