"I stayed here for 4 days for my first international solo trip and received nothing short of princess treatment. The staff was kind and patient, my room was beautiful (i bought a garden view room but was also able to see much of the ocean), landscape was incredible, beach was amazing and the first thing i noticed when i stepped onto the resort was how quiet it was which i appreciated. "We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was a lovely retreat. Our too had a private rooftop pool with on outside grill for entertaining. It was a welcome getaway for quiet solitude to spend our first days together as husband and wife. Would definitely be back and recommend to anyone looking for that extra special private experience. "

"It was uncomfortable having the owner checking if we have the AC off when we exit the bedroom. She was concerned about the cost of electricity. I think the money that I paid should account for electricity. If I leave my house for vacation and I pay to be in a place. I would like to be able to enjoy and feel free to use the AC as I wish. It was hot. I will not recommend this place to anybody"

"first of all the property was extremely clean and tidy location midway between downtown and country if you need a quiet retreat with plenty of fresh air then this is definitely the ideal place. if you are the adventurous type then I would reccomend some type of private transportation, having said all that you will enjoy your stay at the Mangroves."
