Highly recommend staying here if you love that homey feel and like you are with family. Truly loved the whole place from the set up to the lovely and kind staff. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. We liked that it was a short walk to town but not directly in the middle of the hustle and bustle of town. I would definitely stay here again.

This was an adorably hippie hotel in a great location. We were able to walk downtown to all of the dining and shopping options. Easy off-street parking next to hotel. The service was fantastic - receptionist on site 24/7 - and they were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a huge serving and they accommodate allergies well.

One of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had! The customer service is unmatched. The highlight was the hotel staff who were so friendly and accommodating. They made sure we had everything we need both in the hotel and tips for exploring the area. We booked the triple family room and it was very spacious and clean. The overall vibe of the hotel was peaceful and comfy. We unfortunately weren’t able to try the breakfast because of very early tours each day, but the hotel staff made us snack bags to take with us each early morning. Would highly recommend anyone visiting the area stay here.

Small, quiet hotel well situated for foot access to the town. Clean and comfortable with a nice, but unusually, served (not buffet) breakfast. 24 hour availability of hot drinks appreciated.

My wife and I spent two nights at Hotel Ilaia en route to Antarctica and it was delightful! We loved everything about our stay, the warm hospitality, the decorative crafts, the tasty and healthy breakfast options, the quirky design, sky lounge, the view from our room, the excellent service, the music and overall peaceful and calm vibe. Wonderful and unique hotel. Highly recommended.

This boutique hotel is a fabulous place to relax and to base yourself in Punta Arenas. The room was even more lovely than the photos, was spotlessly clean and well appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. The common areas, including rooftop terrace/nook, were charming and inviting places to regroup after a day of adventuring in the area. The staff were extremely kind, helpful, and proactive in anticipating our needs (for example, immediately offering an early breakfast before our penguin excursion). They offer some wonderful extra touches like complementary coffee/tea, and complementary wine on the terrace. The hotel is a short walk to restaurants and to the main area of town. We would highly recommend it!
