Convenient location next to Hallgrimskirkja church. Easy parking right out side of the guesthouse. Very friendly staff. Hugh space for the family suite and bathroom was excellent! Full kitchen with well stocked condiments. Would recommend highly!

The employees were very helpful and kind. The location is perfection! Free parking was pretty easy to find, but it's street parking so you get what you get. We walked to town easily and enjoyed being so central.

The location was great right in the heart of Hallgrímskirkja Church square area. Complete with a view of the Church out the windows. Street parking was not an issue. Shared kitchen and refrigerator space was a bonus. Daily smoothies, coffee, and a sweet cake treat. There were neighboring businesses that offered discounts for guests.

SHARED BATHROOM. Ughhhh I feel like I made a mistake booking this place. It wasn't clear to me that all of the bathrooms were shared...the room is just a small room with a bed. The bathrooms are shared between all guests. The showers don't drain, the upstairs bathroom floods if you shower in it, and there's hair everywhere. I had to clean mass amounts of hair out of the shower twice. To go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, you have to walk into the very bright hallway and then the bathroom light flickers when you turn it on. You can hear the people staying next to you. Don't stay here if you are a light sleeper or want privacy and a clean bathroom. The people who run it were nice enough but I honestly have no idea how this place gets high reviews, especially for the price. It was way to expensive to feel like we were in a dorm, and this really put a damper on the last night of our honeymoon.

Check in & out were super easy & the owner was very pleasant. Our room was beautifully decorated & had lots of extras like tea & coffee availability. There was a wonderful shower. Wished we had stayed more than one night!

Freyja Guesthouse was lovely!
Freyja Guesthouse was lovely! I loved the small touches like the fresh cake and smoothies put out every day, and the coffee. Everything was very clean, and the location was incredible, just about a 5 minute walk to the top of rainbow street. Would definitely stay here again.
