"This is a great place to stay in West Bay. Lots to do, many restaurants close by, amazing beach with prime snorkeling right off shore. The beach and hotel staff are wonderful and very attentive - shout out to Marvin, Joel, Jose, Byron and Marlen! There are many kids and families who stay at this property and the hotel is currently doing some renovations and updating the rooms/balconies and outside structures. "Staff was great. Our room was a bit small but others were larger. AC leaked the last few days creating issues and we had an animal in the bathroom fan vent. Made lots of noise in the middle of the night. Pool area was great. Large pier was great. Snorkeling out front was amazing. "

"La Placita Inn is a beautiful property in a great location at West Bay. It is in within walking distance to numerous restaurants, bars, dive shops, gift shops, and grocery/liquor stores. The beach and pool are beautiful! We ate the complimentary breakfast at La Placita’s own restaurant every morning; it was delicious! All of the staff are very friendly and amazing, especially Jesse at the front desk and Edward at the restaurant. Highly recommend!"

"It was a unique small resort that was beautifully landscaped, felt a little like you were in the jungle. It was quiet off the beaten path. We felt very safe. Everyone was so friendly and you got to know everyone. Food at the Beach Grill was great. There are a couple more restaurants in walking distance that are also good. We took Kayak and paddle boards out to the Reef. We even took them over to Dolphins and watched the dolphins. My daughter and I run everyday and found plenty of beach, dirt and...

"Staff were amazing! Rooms are quaint, small and simple. If you want 5 star this may not be a good option. The bar/restaurant is pretty cool. You can also walk to everything you need. Beds are comfy, shower has hot water, and again staff are top notch! The owners are wonderful and always helpimg staff and greeting guests. Amazing folks! The location is perfect. I will be back to Roatan and Splash Inn."
