The hotel was far off the highway- that’s our fault. We should have looked into it better. It was small - that’s ok - we were only staying to sleep It wasn’t clean - the bedspread had stains - the bathroom had stains on the wall The water smelled awful - we didn’t flush the toilet - the stink was so bad

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel as it was close to an event we had plans for. The room was okay but the bathroom was very small and the door did not latch. The air conditioner had a strange smell when I turned it on and when we went outside to our vehicle we somehow got locked out of the room. Then we had an emergency and needed to cut our stay short by a day. I asked about a refund for the day we were unable to stay and I was told they couldn't issue one as I booked my stay through Expedia, well I contacted Expedia and explained the situation and they contacted the hotel who refused to give us a refund. Basically they lied to us when they said they were unable to do anything because we booked through a 3rd party. They could have given us a refund for the one night but simply refused (I did not plan to have an emergency cut our trip short). Also, when we were being checked in our credit card information was manually entered and I watched as they saved the card information on their tablet (like you can do on your phones to use it again) when I questioned why I was simply told they had too.

The soap dispenser had no soap. No laundry bag. Step into room dangerously high, over 12”, need to add a step. Room 17, was clean and comfortable. There are no options for eating or shopping close by.

For being on a main road outside of Saginaw it was nice and quiet. It had a cozy atmosphere and it wasn't far in my opinion for restaurants and shopping.

Awesome Old-School Motel.
Great old-school motel. Drive up and park in front of your room. Very nice and peaceful location. Gave me flashbacks of road-trips as a kid as I pulled in. Nothing fancy but looked nice. Was very surprised when I went in the room. It was a very nice updated room. Microwave, refrigerator, a nice desk area, even a small table with a couple chairs. It was a little tight for the 3 of us, but it did the job. Bathroom was very nice, the only knock would be it’s a little small, but nothing they can do about that. Would definitely stay again.

It's Def an older property probably used by hunters and fisherman over the years but it's only a10 minute drive into town for concert venues. Very quiet and in the middle of nowhere but clean and kept up. Would stay again!
