This was my 3rd stay at Captain Morgan's & definitely my most disappointing. Pre-arrival, Alex was most helpful. However, once there the attention to guests went downhill. After being delayed a day due to weather, you would think the room would be ready upon arrival, but it was not. There was construction at the main pool area which was both noisy &unnerving. While construction is unavoidable, there was no advance notice or even any acknowledgement of it. The chef did not show up one morning until almost noon (we were informed he was out partying the night before), so there was no breakfast available. The safe in the room broke & started beeping incessantly. We asked for maintenance who could not fix it. They managed to stop the beeping, but then it went off in the middle of the night at 12:45AM with no one around to help. BUT the worst & most disconcerting part was when we rented a golf cart. They stated they had none available but 5 minutes later one magically appeared & we were sent on our way. The steering was tight but hey its a golf cart not a car. Soon after, we could barely steer at all & coasted into the gas station where the attendant, Mike, had to help us maneuver in. He informed us that it was completely broken axel & the front end was not even bolted on! We very cautiously made our way back to the resort. They then tried to replace the cart for us with one that had no brakes! An hour later a safe cart was delivered. Very disappointed and won't return
