The refurbished rooms are lovely and spacious, sea view is a must, staff are super friendly at both reception and in the restaurant. The evening meals were high class, wasn’t expecting such good food, especially the squid, excellent.

Very nice hotel. Old style and they are renovating the rooms. We had 210 with sea view and a small balcony. Huge bathroom 🤗 Comfy bed and felt brand new. Close to the beach and 5 min walk to the town center. We come back ☺️

Difficult to recommend .....
We had to change the room as the bathroom was smelly; the new room was much better but the bed was rather hard. The breakfast was poor, with limited choice and insufficient seating for all the guests. We booked through hotels.com where free parking was included but the hotel refused to honour it and we had to pay 16 Euros per day. Will not stay here again.

It was an impressive building and in its prime would have been spectacular. It appears they may be upgrading it but it certainly isn’t complete. Shabby in communal areas. Breakfast cold when should be hot. Staff friendly though. Would have been nice to have had a lift to the 5th floor where we were put. Clean room though when we had finally arrived. Maybe in the next couple of years it will have been brought back to the glory it has previously enjoyed

Noise transfer between guest rooms
A few disappoints with my stay. The first room offered had a broken air conditioner. Talked to the front desk and acknowledged it had been reported. Offered a new room with air. The shower was tiny and the wall clip for the hand held shower was broken. Showering was challenging. Walls are paper thin and heard even normal speech clearly from room next door. And older wooden floors meant I heard every footstep from room above. But housekeeping and breakfast staff were very friendly and the breakfast quite good and reasonably priced. But all considered I would not stay again.

ON NE REVIENDRA PAS
Avant tout accueil peu agréable, une réceptionniste qui nous demande pourquoi nous avons réservé une chambre triple... alors que nous sommes deux !!! Je ne vois vraiment pas en quoi ça la concerne. Le réceptionniste, à l'accueil toujours, qui au lieu de nous demander " verbalement " de nous déplacer, nous fait un signe de la tête et du bras, un peu léger comme comportement. Pas de cahier d'allergènes au petit déjeuner. j'ai du descendre à la réception car celle-ci ne répondait pas après 5 appels. La même réceptionniste du check in a tel après dans notre chambre pour voir si ça fonctionnait ... du type je ne vous crois pas. Bruit du parquet de la chbre à côté de la nôtre vers 23 h. Chambre en face la nôtre à 21 h 00 un musicien répétait sur son violon. Bref je ne vais pas tt énoncer. Point positif : la réceptionniste du check out était, ELLE, très agréable.

Bel hôtel ancien, il n’y avait plus de chambres en façade, bien dommage. Beaux salons, accueil sympathique du personnel de l’hôtel. Hôtel rénové et très propre, lit confortable. Mais le plus, c’est le parking gratuit ( même si un affichage en réception peut jeter un doute), il n’y a pas de facturation pour le client hôtel.com). Je dis attention à ce type d’affichage car le parking gratuit est souvent déclencheur de réservation, notamment à San Remo. Il ne faut pas créer le doute chez le client qui cherche un hôtel.

Une belle étape à l'hôtel des anglais Sanremo
Séjour agréable, très bien au niveau du personnel, souriant, disponible et à l'écoute. Établissement très propre, bien tenu, espaces communs agréables .Petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Bonne table ( nous avons soupé à la carte). Petit bémol pour l'extérieur pas de service apéro et café en terrasse. Pas vraiment de terrasse.
