It seems to me that the Thais are trying to cram more and more onto the island via boats, etc, it is losing its charm a little

Well getting out from the bus to go to my hotel from police to citizens they tried to help me and Finally made it ! Satun was the nearest place to sleep before taking ferry to langkawi

The beach immediately outside the resort has a few boats, but just around the corner (you could literally swim there) there is a beautiful cove with clear shallow water. Visit the nearby On the Rocks restaurant for dinner.
