"This was a reasonable place to stay in a somewhat out of the way part of France. If you are interested in lutherie and the history of mechanical music Mirecourt is a very interesting place to visit. However a stay in Contrexeville or Vittel might provide additional places to see and visit. The spiral staircase inside Le Luth offers a challenge if you are almost 79 and have large suitcases. Nonetheless, a comfortable place to stay for the night and a nice breakfast in the morning."

"The confirmation said that the reception would be open from 8 am to 10 pm. We arrived at 3 pm and no one was there. I followed instructions about self check in but was told electronically that the room was not ready. The telephone number did not work. I called Hotels and they contacted the proprietor who asked for my name an reprogrammed the computer check in. It did no fact work and we checked in . The balance of the service was excellent. "

"The room I'm we were given was adjacent to the kitchen. Basically, that room should be decommissioned. They were banging away till 11:30 pm making it impossible to rest. Also, the condition of room was pretty dismal. It just felt worn and the bed was so low, it was practically on the floor. However, it was affordable, so if the room was in a better location on the property, I would have less to complain about. "I stayed here on the last night of an 11 day tour of Europe. When you arrive the patio and view captivate the senses. It is perfect for an afternoon sharing drinks with friends. "Perfect overnight stop when travelling with dogs - free of charge which is unique as most hotels really sting you! Nice green area around the property which again was great for our dogs. "This is a relatively inexpensive hotel so I don't expect lots of extras. It was relatively clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. There is no lift so if you have heavy luggage make sure your muscles are in good order. Grouting in the bathroom could use a bit of a scrub in places and as a personal preference I don't like showers over bathtubs as they are potentially dangerous. "I would love to give it 5 stars but due to the fact that the heat was not working was really bad specially when you are with an infant with you I literally had put his jacket on in the middle of the night because the room was freezing mind you we had a small heater on but in vain. I wish we had been informed of this situation before we arrived in order to weight our options or not. But besides that the receptionist was very nice and helpful to us during our stay."
