"The place was very clean and nice, and easy to check in. The problem is that you cannot run the heat and the coffee maker at the same time. I could certainly have worked around this inconvenience, if I had known about it. There was no sign on the counter, only a note about it on the 4th page of the house manual - past the page about a local gym. When I got to the page I did not read further. "Hotel Edgewater was a great place to stay right across from Resurrection Bay. We had a room with a view of the bay. "There is the historic part of the hotel and the modern. We accidentally booked the historic side with no elevator and very small rooms. They were very accommodating and switched us to the modern side with elevators. They have a van that will also take you anywhere you wanna go in town."

"Great location. Hotel is an interesting place, if a little dated. Beds were comfortable, but the rooms could have been cleaner. We found a pubic hair on one of the beds and had an unexpected roommate (centipede). Aside from that, the location was great and the staff was excellent - very attentive. The coffee bar was a nice touch as well."

"The ocean view was spectacular with teal waters and islands and mountains all around. The cabins are located in a cove, so it is safe for kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards, all available for use. They even provided dry suits for us. The cabin was very comfortable and clean. At night, it was very quiet. The staff were very friendly, going beyond to be helpful. One person even helped my son fish and clean the fish for us. He was so nice. "
