"It was so fun to stay here! It gets dark and everything nearby closes early (5pm) but the amenities, dining experience and onsen made it well worth the stay. It was the perfect getaway from Tokyo. We even had an outdoor tub that dispensed hot spring water on our balcony! Not to mention the free sparkling wine and ice cream post-onsen. "

"This property was beautiful and the onsens were amazing. We loved that the baths were private so that our children could use them as well. We had dinner at the property and it was delicious and quite a treat. Anyone planning to stay should know that this property is not very walkable. It is not only further away than other properties, it is on a hillside. We utilized taxis a great deal. This property was also not clean. There was mold growing on the walls and bugs (mosquitos?) smashed...

"This is a traditional ryoken located in a tucked away area. We took a taxi to get there because it was raining but were able to leave by bus. The private onsen was lovely, big and beautifully built. We slept really well in the comfortable tatami room and futon bed."

"Historical property in stunning settings, Staff is kind and very helpful Miss Park we loved your kindness.Beautiful property grounds ,excelent food choices.The bed and pillows were so comfortable i slept my best in the last 10 years . "Staff is very responsive and attentive. Having an in room onsen is great so that we can take a dip in it any time we like. Although the property is a little out of the way, they can always take you to near by bus or train station upon request. Dinner and breakfast are served inside the room. You sit on the floor and the table is about 12-14" high. Sitting cross leg may be uncomfortable to those who are not used to it. Getting up from that sitting position may be difficult for some."
