"This was one of the most beautiful Corsican hotels I stayed at while touring Corsica. I’d go back in a heartbeat. The staff was amazing - so helpful and friendly. Unfortunately upon check out my bank card did not work in their card reader. They said the payment was declined. I did make alternatives but later when I contacted my financial institution, they informed me it was the card reader at the hotel that was not working. This was unfortunate. Next time, I will always have either cash on hand...

"We had a 2 bedroom apartment. The unit was spacious and clean. The kitchen has a dishwasher but is a little short on utensils. Maybe most guest bring this sort of thing but as we are from Canada we had to rely on what was there. The furniture was Roche Bobois but it wasn't as comfortable as I expected. There are also strict rules about cleaning up before you check out with fines attached. We didn't expect this and there were no cleaning supplies although the hotel notice indicates there are....

"The stay in Casa di L'Alivu was excellent! The host is very friendly and helpful and the check-in and checkout was very comfortable. The room - we had the maisonette suite - was much to our liking. It is not the most modern furniture, but it is practical and charming, and did the job very well. The windows are a bit harder to open, but they do all work, the bed is very comfortable. For the more than fair price of the stay, it was perfect. The property is stunningy - beautiful Olive and Citrus...

"Great access to lovely beach, although it does shelve quite steeply so not so suitable for small children. Beach faces west so lovely sunsets. Chalets are adequate. Much nicer than mobile homes/caravans, although they are fairly basic. Unfortunately the kitchens do not have either an oven or kettle although this is not uncommon. Pool was lovely and great for small children too. Staff were polite and site was clean. Plenty of parking in carpark and trolleys were available to move luggage to and...

It was off-peak so it was very quiet and peaceful at the hotel and the nearby towns. "Big appartment for a budget rate, close enough to the ferry port and nearby supermarkets to allow for walking to and from, but let down by provision of dirty teatowel, hard floors and thin ceilings resulting in no sleep possible until after midnight due to noise (talking and movement) from above. Lack of utilities' instructions meant that coffee maker unusable. Reasonable overall but could be better. Although WiFi signal strong, couldn't get it to connect."
