"It was a fantastic family trip! Excellent location. Kind and attentive staff. Lovely, unique and clean room with a patio door opening onto the garden. Had a calm and pleasant atmosphere throughout. Really nice leisure facilities (number limited which meant a leisurely and relaxing time, even with children). Fresh and tasty breakfast in a dining room that had a lovely ambience. We’ll definitely be back! "

"Beautiful property. We were very pleased by the friendly and welcoming staff. The rooms are charming, clean, and full of character. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a larger room that was tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Transportation was easy to-and-from town using uber. We will definitely be returning in the future. "We stayed Saturday 12th April for just the one night. Ample car parking and a warm welcome at reception. We had room 11 with a balcony it is very basic but clean. A bath with shower overhead plenty of wardrobe space and drawers. A sofa bed and coffee table by the window. No hairdryer available in the room and only one hand towel. We didnt have dinner in the hotel but chose a local restaurant. Breakfast was cooked to order, nice to see strawberries and blueberries along with yogurt. A...

"I had a nice comfortable and quiet room so therefore a good nights sleep. The room could have been cleaner, bathroom mirrors were missed by cleaning staff also sticky ring marks on furniture. The bar service was good although a small glass of wine and a portion of fries in a basket (no plate offered or napkins) £17 thought rather pricey! Morning alarm call was prompt and helpful at 5am request. I did not use the spa facilities but I would choose to stay again and allow time to use the swimming...

"Every member of staff that we interacted with were helpful, friendly and courteous. The room was lovely and so was breakfast. Very dog friendly. We wish we could have stayed longer!"

"I book hotels that have a gym or use of a gym. This helps me after working all day and being away from home. This hotel said it has use of a gym so on that I booked it. On arrival I was told the gym has been closed for refurbishment, at no point before booking was I told this as I wouldn’t have booked it if I knew"
