"We stayed at The Bear Inn for two nights (21st & 22nd December) and ate in the restaurant the evening of Sunday 22nd. Our room was great; very clean with a comfy bed, quiet and spacious with everything we needed. Breakfast both mornings was excellent as was our meal on December 22nd. Each time the staff were hard working, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Always there with a laugh and a smile. We'd definitely consider staying at The Bear Inn again when we're next on our travels as it's ideally located for Wells, Glastonbury and the Haynes Motor Museum, places we visited during our stay. "

"Our stay was fantastic. Our room was great, very clean and we had water, biscuits and tea and coffee. The whole hotel was very clean, the staff very friendly and the food and drinks were very good. We definitely would recommend this hotel to friends and family. We have stayed here before and will be staying here again this Friday, 27th December on our way back home from staying with our daughter."

"Old hotel with character. Recent new management, very friendly staff with lovely craft beers on offer. Didn't try the food, but most tables were reserved, so a good sign !"

"Amazing hotel and the staff were great, could not of been more helpful after a last minute booking at 9pm after the original hotel we booked (The Crossways) was totally unacceptable to stay in due to our room being directly above the speakers for a Christmas Party they were hosting. Noise in the room was so loud no one would of been able to sleep and given we had a 6 year old child with us even more shocking they put us in that room. Room was spacious and comfy, location was amazing as we had the Xmas trip booked at Wookey Hole and the breakfast was by far one of the best we have had staying in hotels or even a restaurant. Highly recommended as a place to stay if going to Wookey Hole or just visiting the area. "

"Very comfortable, modern hotel, a step up on the usual "Premier" options at this price with a decent shower on a hose and proper loo paper, decent wifi, comfy bed and smart TV. Nice bar area and friendly staff. Main menu a bit basic as is the quality and £9 a night parking only little whinges, all in all I'll definitely be back. Good breakfast too. "
