"Our children are 9 and 12 and felt like this catered more towards younger families as a lot of babies around and most activities were aimed to younger children. Everything was as sold, nice room and accommodation but maybe lacked a bit of personality and catered more towards volume"

The area doesn’t offer much to do except for seeing the rather run down and uninteresting Tsunami memorial and a couple of markets. The highlights are the pristine beaches and lovely ocean.

There is a really good restaurant next to the hotel called Cafe O which does excellent quality food at low cost and also provides a laundry service. There is also a small mini Mart by the hotel where you can stock up on water etc

We did not venture out much ourselves as was unsure of the area. Only went on organised trips. We did use rhe hotel shuttlebus once but didn't think there was much to do in the area & also the taxi fare can be really expensive.
