"Beautiful property, wirh great views of Cotopaxi from our room. Wonderful to have a wood stove in the room, as it's cold up there and the fire kept us toasty! Franklin was very friendly and helpful with all our needs. Food was surprisingly nice, especially the soups and fish. The property is very close to the entrance of the park. "We stay at the Hacienda el Porvenir for one night. And let me say I wish I could have stayed longer. The staff makes you feel right at home. They welcome you with some empanadas and the traditional canelaso. The downside to staying at the Hacienda was we couldn’t enjoy what the place had to offer I totally recommend this place. "

"Great spot. We stayed here during a business trip and ww found it to be the perfect location near latacunga. The service was impeccable. We had dinner at the property and I strongly recommend it, not only for the food but because there is nothing else around and the experience was beautiful. "

"It is an older hotel, beds sag but it is very clean, staff was great and showers hot, it's also the best location I could imagine. My only real complaint would be that smoking is allowed and when there were smokers on my floor the smell was enough to be bothersome. "

"My friend and I stayed at this location for a Saturday night while visiting Latacunga. The hotel is nice, but is located next to a discotec. Music from the disco could be heard clearly in our room. The music lasted until about 5AM. We were both unable to sleep. The shower had semi-hot water. For the price was paid for this, I was expecting a lot more than what we received. Definitely not going to stay here ever again."

"The staff was friendly and very helpful. They do not speak English but we were able to communicate via google translate. There are no outside windows which is good for noise but airflow is limited. There is no A/C. The bathroom shower didn’t drain until the next morning. Still we did enjoy our stay and felt taken care of."

"Such a great hotel with the most friendly and helpful staff!! The room was a decent size and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The staff was incredibly responsive to our needs. We had a car on checking in and staff immediately opened up the secure garage to allow us to park. We felt completely safe leaving our car here.
