"Very friendly lady owner and can speak good English! There is also choice of American breakfast or local rice or congee. Tried authentic Thai milk tea. Room is Only downside is too small signboard and not catchy, plus hotel is just 2-3 units from a road corner. You need to drive there as it’s just in front of a pier. "I paid $6. You get what you pay for. I got a bed, a cold-water shower with towels, a toilet, and a fan (no airconditoning). I was traveling alone and that's what I wanted. The place is old and beat to death. Good location. The owner is an old unfriendly grumpy unsmiling guy - but I wasn't staying there to make friends. Noisy AF - and especially so early in the morning. "This is a hidden gem. Cabanas in a beautiful setting on a moat by the river entrance to the lake. Almost empty because tourism hasn’t come back here like the rest of the country. Amazing staff, good food, great prices and they’ll arrange a tour to Thale Noi too. A highlight of our trip."

"I paid $6. You get what you pay for. I got a bed, a cold-water shower with towels, a toilet, and a fan (no airconditoning). I was traveling alone and that's what I wanted. The place is old and beat to death. Good location. The owner is an old unfriendly grumpy unsmiling guy - but I wasn't staying there to make friends. Noisy AF - and especially so early in the morning. Not much to do in the town - but OK to walk around for 1/2 day. I found a good dim sum place for breakfast. If you are looking for a cheap and convenient place (an nothing more) this place is fine. "
