"Pretty much as advertised. The location is good. The rooms are good. Internet is fast. Room service is good. The check-in process was a little bit long, and the check in lobby is tiny and darkly lit. Don't bother with the breakfast buffet... the hotel right next door has a much better breakfast buffet. "

"The hotel is so dirty and outdated. The bathroom smells so bad and has so many mold and mildew stains. The toilet needs to be replaced and the lighting needs to be fixed. The tv is from the early 2000’s and also there’s no lock for the balcony. This is in a sketchy area. Also want to add that the mattress are all very firm. I would say it’s on the extra firm side. Add a few more bucks and stay elsewhere! "

"The Ascott Sathorn is in a great location, near public transport, and a short walk to some great restaurants and shopping. It has a wonderful pool area and good pub with live music that was amazing. The staff are so friendly and helpful too. I didn't like how noisy it was at night. The windows could really do with triple glazing due to traffic noise. I was on the 7th floor, so maybe more of an issue lower down the building. The pillows were really hard and uncomfortable too."
