"Great stop for an overnight on way to Siena"

"Staff were awesome! Hotel is beautiful. Would stay again. Beds were super comfortable. Best sleep we got in Italy. This resort was a nice break from the city visits. The spa was nice, but the open hours made it difficult to plan days to visit areas like Pisa and Florence and spend time there without missing the spa closing. We did not have breakfast or lunch at the resort but we did have dinner. As someone who is accustomed to fine dining, it was disappointing. Food was under seasoned and...

"Bed was very hard. I did ask for a mattress topper but it was so thin that it made no difference. Paper cups in the room were disappointing. Would have expected proper cups given that we had tea and coffee making facilities. Glasses for water were also plastic. Tea and coffee were not replenished each day. Nor was the water. Only allowed for one day of your stay! The balcony was different to the photo and also close to a busy road so not relaxing. The breakfast was good with plenty of variety....

Though we arrived late in the evening, the area felt lively with a cozy bar restaurant right in front of the hotel and a small grocery store conveniently located just a block away. "L'hotel è un po' vecchio, sia esternamente che internamente. Credo che questo sia il motivo per cui i prezzi risultano accessibili anche in alta stagione. L'accoglienza è stata ottima. La colazione buona. L'aria condizionata non funzionava in modo adeguato per cui in camera faceva caldo. La mia impressione è stata che il livello di servizio venga tenuto al minimo indispensabile per mantenere le 4 stelle Per usufruire della SPA si devono pagare 25€ a testa. "
