"Our stay at Lula was short but wonderful. The room itself is few steps from the beach which is a big plus. We stayed in the beach side of the property, and the room was bright, clean, and had all the amenities you could need. The location of the hotel is perfect also, far from the noise of all the clubs and dancing restaurants but still in a reasonable walking distance (10/15 min). This place will clearly be my go to in Tulum. "

"I enjoyed my stay overall and would book again. I don’t agree that this is a 5-star hotel but would rate it a strong 3-stars. The restaurant should stay open later than 6pm (on the weekends) and there should be 24-hour concierge to help with things like calling taxis, etc. The hotel is located in an area that is very dark at night so walking to/from bars is not advised if you’re alone.
