There’s a great spot to grab a bite on-site, plus a few restaurants just across the street. Best part: you can sleep with the window open. Just a 10-minute walk to Amsterdam’s main train station. Honestly, I wish I’d stayed for a week. I can see the hotel as a fantastic location for a conference, strategy meeting, or staff retreat."

It rained for a short time when I first got there, but they had umbrellas to borrow! Bed was comfy too. "citizenM Amsterdam South is a unique chain of hotels with a micro footprint focus. Each room has an "open" show and toilet area in the main bedroom, partitioned by a glass tube and or curtain, which takes some getting used to. The staff is stellar, I enjoyed when they called us guest "citizens". The lobby feels akin to a hostel, in that its very communal, even with the likes of business workers. Its affordable and in a good location. Watch out for all the bikes!"
