Hostels in Uruguay

"The neighborhood is in the process of being revitalized. It seemed to have abandoned buildings around Ciudad Vieja. Most of the developing areas were near the Mercado Puerto which is about 10minute from Circus Hotel. The location of the hotel was within walking distance of the Plaza Independencia. Sofía at the front desk was very helpful and friendly.. I opted for the private room accomodation. It was spacious and clean. The bed was two twin beds put together . Air conditioner worked very well....

When you are traveling for leisure you’re looking to relax and having a great time. So having an encounter with someone that is not having it can be a bit not so cool. "The bathroom needs updating, its old and often runs out of hot water! The bedrooms are very basic, no wardrobe or locker. Also, be aware that the hostel is NOT in punta del este, its in la barra. "
