"Cleanliness is ok but the condition of some room facilities needs constant inspection. Situation: my daughter was trapped in the shower room because the rubber seal on the glass door is in poor state causing it to jam so tightly that it is not able to open . Fortunately, l was able to hear her call for help and had to call service manager to get maintenance crew to force open the door. A very embarrassing situation."

"This building was built by Taiwanese capital in 1970s but now becomes a hotel run by Beijing’s servile follower: only Communist Party newspaper is provided at lobby. Could you imagine a big cockroach was next to you accompanying your check-in? Inside the room there is only one available electronic socket and without any USB port, completely unacceptable for more than one guest"

"Conveniently located on HK Island, close to transport links and Wanchai market. Room has cooking facilities and washer/drier. Our second stay in this hotel and we.re going back next month. This is now our accommodation of choice provided it doesn't get any more expensive."
