"No staff at reception. Guests were checking themselves in. A text in German with my room number. Got that sorted. Decided to stay another night. None answered the phone so rebooked thru Expedia. Four texts in German so I asked for a translation but got no reply. Nice place but seems disorganized."

"Rask innsjekk og gode senger. Badet var lite, men greit. God frokost. Et flott Hotel for en natts stopp. Vi ble anbefalt å spise på Restaurant Grillhaus og de hadde fin meny og god mat, store porsjoner og rabatt da bordet var bestilt for oss av Ambiente. "Fantastic location for walks in nature. Our toilet was outside the room accross a corridor, which was not clear when we made the booking. The room had two seperated single beds. When we pushed them together to have a double bed, it became clear that cleaning was limited to visible areas. The staff was really friendly."

"The hotel is located in a quiet location, surrounded by forests. My room was in good condition and clean. The staff is very nice and enthusiastic. I was a bit skeptical about the fact that the restaurant offers only buffet, but I found the quality of the food excellent. The hotel in general is in an excellent condition and offers good value for money."

"This was our fourth stay at this hotel. It has changed hands over last several years but has changed very little in its nice and quaint historic appearance. Breakfast was good. A lack of air conditioning during the visit caused some discomfort, but higher temperatures were unexpected. This hotel is located within walking distance of most trail areas (and there are a lot of trail areas). "

"Perfect rural location for our needs. Wanted to be within an hour of Verden, Bremen and Hamburg. Very quiet. Staff were excellent, friendly and efficient. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hof Tütsberg. The buildings have lots of history and the forested area is very calm and peaceful—perfect for a quiet escape. The decor is a bit dated, but everything was very clean. Breakfast was also quite good with some vegan options. One thing to note is the electric vehicle charging station is cost prohibitive at 0.60 euros per kWh (as of July 2024). Overall, a great place to stay, but consider the EV charging cost if applicable."
