"Average experience, this is clearly a newly open residence and only one floor is in service while the owner is still renovating the second floor. Maybe a lot for one person to handle , but professionalism could improve, cleanliness was ok but not perfect and while some things are newly renovated, this is an older building. Owner is helpful though and this may all improve in time . For now it’s a bit expensive for what it is, but there is limited options on Aka island anyways. "

"Small cozy rooms with shared shower and bath. Very conveniently situated next to dining and beach. The owner speaks good English and is very helpful. Would recommend for budget or solo travellers."

"Great beachfront place. Three rooms so it’s quiet and private. Has a pool with a beautiful beach across the street. They serve an American style breakfast and course style dinner. Food was delicious! Highly recommend if you’re ever ok Aka!"

"Great stay at Kerama Beach Hotel, the team there were amazing and looked after our every need. The hotel is situated away from the main town but we were able to use the hotel shuttle bus any time we needed. The food was varied and really excellent. Not a lot happening in and around the hotel but that suited us fine and the surrounding area is great for walking & snorkelling. All in all a lovely stay!"

"A short 15-20 min walk from the dock or maybe only 5 min on an e-bike, this was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is very clean and it wasn’t a hassle at all to share things like the bathrooms with other guests. Highly recommend if you’re looking to stay overnight on Zamami. "

"Yuumi and her team were so lovely and made us feel so welcome in Aka! They picked us up from the port even though it was a short way which was so helpful with our luggage. Hosei is right on the beach front and you can see the best sunset from here as well as relax in the day. It is so tranquil! We went during New Year and many places on the island were closed but they served food which was very traditional Japanese style. The rooms and shared bathroom/shower were always very very clean. "Friendly stuff and great location.Beautiful beaches are in walking distance. One closest is only a minute away by flipflap walk. We enjoyed snorkeling there on the first day arrived. The water was amazingly clear and there were full of colorful fish. We even saw a turtle swimming by. If you are interested in tasting a bit of island life and enjoying scuba diving/snorkeling, staying Seasir Akajima is recommended. "
