"We had a wonderful time at No. 5 from beginning to end. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and modern whilst being right in nature. We were very well looked after by the staff especially Frankie who went above and beyond every day even helping us organise trips and buy tickets and driving us to the entrance of the national park. "Super helpful hosts with very good English. Shared excellent recommendations for visiting zhangjiajie, Tianmenshan, and local food options. Even helped me get a car when my didi wouldn’t work! Cute night market outside and not far from train station and cable cars. Note the google maps location is wrong, it’s on the other side of the river, more north. Airport pickup was super helpful. Highly recommend. "

"I got this hotel for its location for a few things I wanted to do and that was great. The room was big and comfortable but the downside for me was no mini fridge in the room and the AC wasn’t working. There are a lot of elevators, a few of them I started avoiding bc they would jolt a lot and make lots of noises which made me nervous. All the elevators were really dirty. Not exactly a dealbreaker but for the price tag, there were better expectations."
