  • Dry season warning (September, October, Mid -November): less water at the waterfall and presence of many horseflies
  • Rainy season warning (April, May, June, July): flooding of a creek along side the road to the mountain inhibits the bus to reach the plateau. If this happens an alternative programme will carried out: a stop at the Brokopondo dam, a visit to a marroon village, swimming at Colakreek
  • A minimum of 2 people is required for the tour to have guaranteed departure
