THE DRIVER WAS LOVELY - cheery and just what you want on a tourist bus. We sat downstairs as it was a very cold day and there was only us and another couple there initially. Unfortunately the bus windows were dirty which was disappointing for a sight seeing tour. This was the first tour of the day so should have been clean. The sound system was very poor. Two different voices, two different voices. Very difficult to hear. Driver did kindly turn the volume up on request but I suspect each section was preset as it seemed to revert back to original volume. Female voice was slightly better than male voice for volume. Six women from upstairs must have felt the cold and came downstairs- we were done for then as they just talked non stop and we struggled to hear at all! I have been on many tour buses of this kind and either been given earphones to plug in or the 'shared' story has been good and loud. It helped us get our bearings of the city but we were disappointed to miss out on the history
