"Both my husband and myself found the hotel to be just perfect location walk to the beach ideal for children..especially in summer months. Breakfast was great ample choice. However we found our bedroom overlooking the garden a little sparce could do with additional decorative objects to give it more appeal.."

"We have just returned home from an excellent 5 night stay at Balincourt. Staff were always friendly and helpful. The accomodation was top class and the breakfast options very good. The location couldn't have been more convenient with bus stops adjacent and a pub opposite."

"Absolutely lovely in every way. I go to the Royal Exeter once a month and I feel as if I am returning home each time: from the lovely personal welcome from the reception staff, the comfort of the bed and the linen quality (far superior to some higher rated hotels locally) and the fab breakfast. The super secure parking is another bonus. Can’t wait to be back!"

"It is a wonderful place. We had the kings room, it was spectacular. It is a bit of a weird check in, you get a code to open front door and then your room door. Breakfast is across the road in the derby hotel. There is a path to the beach nearby. I'd definitely stay here again."

"All round the hotel was in the right location for our needs. The only thing was we were in a room in the roof space so it was restricted with head room, so if you got up in the night you had to remember to bend or you would hit your head , recommend when booking request you are on the lower floor as the bedrooms look more roomy and lager especially if you are staying for a few days. "
