"Casa Marabú was a wonderful experience. A nice place in a quiet, clean, secure neighborhood, close to a grocery store, coffee shop and the Malecon (the waterfront). Our hosts Tania and Andy were good communicators and were very reliable with the things we needed while there. "

"We are so happy with the house, and the hosts Lea and Francois. All was perfect and we got lots of help with organizing taxi and tours around Havana from them. Also, delicious complimentary fruits and breakfast. Thank you for having us. Cuba is Cuba, and with Lea and Francois, all went smooth. "

"The pictures are all correct but they do not convey how charming and idyllic this place is. Dr Marcos is a great host, always available to help. I could picture myself returning to Cuba just to chill in the Casa's gardens or play with the three house cats."

"The apartment is located centric in Old Havana. Many restaurants around. It was clean, and spacious. The bed was King size and confortable. Second floor if you have too many baggage. Two door to enter so it is very secured. And Omar was so kind and nice with us. "

Mixed feelings

"It was an okay experience. The hotel is centrally located, a few minutes walk to the waterfront. The building itself is very beautiful. However the room might not be convenient for some travelers as the toilet is located above the bedroom and you need to climb steep steps to get there. WiFi is not free and the signal is not good at all. Robert, the assistant manager (I think) is very helpful and polite. "
