"We stayed in an executive studio for 2 nights. The images were unclear of what the room layout was compared to to the studio double bed - and there was an extra cost to this upgrade. With four of us in a room, it’s more spacious than other hotels, and always great views. We previously stayed in a family penthouse - which is a lot more spacious and family friendly - a couple of weeks earlier for my birthday. However, the executive was a lot cheaper for a 2 night stay. "This was our second time at Metropole. We love how convenient it is to the tube and Paddington. Only downfall is that it probably has the slowest lifts in all of London. Probably need to leave an extra 10 minutes early because it sometimes takes that long to catch the lift, particularly in the morning."
