"It was comfortable. Clean beddings. Served the purpose. We were at a room without windows but it didn’t matter that much as we were out most times. I just wish English breakfast was available that’s all. We had a good deal though with Travelodge as kids below 16 have free breakfast 😊"

"For a budget hotel, you got what you paid for at this hotel. The person checking in before us had a problem so it meant we had to wait a while to check in - which is fine, these things happen, but it would have been nice if the member of staff had apologised for our wait when it got to our turn. The rooms are quite tiny, but clean and looked like they had been newly decorated. "Lovely stay in city centre. Offered upgrade on check in. Bar staff told us about joining reward scheme to get half price drinks on happy hour. Room spacious and very clean. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Tram stop only short walk for Meadowhall or arena. Would highly recommend "

"Friendly and welcoming staff. The air in the room was very poor. CO2 levels on 1800-2200 if we didn't open the window. The ventilation just circulated the air. Had to sleep with the window open to get the co2 down and made the room cold and damp due to the February weather. "
