"The property is stunning. However, more training is needed for the staff. Ordered food from one of the pool bars and after an hour, my food never arrived. The remote in my room didnt work, i requested service, it never came. I asked for menus to the restaurants to determine where to go for dinner and no one could get this information for me. So, with some training, this has the potential to be a 5 star resort"

"Absolutely loved everything about the JW Marriott Le Morne! The setting is dreamy, the sea is so transparent, the staff is kind, caring and efficient. The rooms and common areas/restaurant are so tastefully decorated. I rate this hotel well above some more famous Mauritian establishments, such as Le St Geran. When in Mauritius, I will always go back to this hotel. Thanks for making our stay a truly memorable one!!!!"

"Overall good quality of staff, breakfast, cleaning. Disappointed about the sundbeds at the beach They were supposed to be out on monday-friday but were often cancelled without any informaion to the guests claiming that it was a public holiday or just to many people on the beach to put them out."

"We visited the resort with our 2 kids, came from Turkey and stayed there for 4 happy days. The resort has a vintage beauty. We arrived there early, after a long, exhausting flight, but, the hotel was full and they couldn't give us a room before 15:00. However, they were kind and sincere and tried their best to help us. "Overall the experience was good. We had an ocean view and the outlook was beautiful. The breakfast service was brilliant, and whilst the choice was not huge, the eggs were to die for. My biggest constructive feedback is the lack of reception from the front desk each time we entered and exited the building, a smile m, warm welcome or hello goes a long way. "Where do i start. They took me around in golf carts so i dont have to walk in the sun and heat, they had the best staff team ive met in all my life, the food was amazing not a single thing to complain about. The hotel was clean, cool and there was lots of things to do. I was helped mostly by Yash, Rajvir, Sarvesh, Atish, Ben, avi and the house keeping lady. The hotel had a games room and snooker room that i used every night, entertainment every night at the retreat, bar open all day and night and coconut stall. The spa and massage was amazing, quite expensive but was amazing. I did not walk past a single staff member without them greeting me in such a kind way and bowing their heads. I truly felt like i owned the place. The two pools were the perfect temperature at all times and were very clean. Some of the people that stayed at the hotel were very rude to the staff members and i really feel bad they received this treatment. Overall, the hotel was the best hotel ive stayed at with the most friendliest staff ever. The hospitality is unmatched. You will not regret a single thing about booking this hotel. Thank you"

Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa

"The hotel is amazing. Beautiful food at the buffets and restaurants. Some of the best I’ve had at a buffet service. Beach is beautiful. Staff are lovely and helpful. David & Mr V at the scuba place are amazing and so good at alleviating fear for first timers and making it a great experience. Not a slight as the hotel, but be careful if booking the hooneymoon option through hotels.com. The website doesn’t allow you to select package and so on arrival we were told we had only be booked as breakfast only. The system isn’t great and certainly not clear. We had to pay additional £££ for a 9 night stay to upgrade to half board, which is what we thought we had booked anyway! Long story, I’d say go direct if you’re staying here as honeymooners. "
