"Very nice, true Mauritius experience. Lovely suite overlooking the pool and ocean. Meals prepared onsite. Breakfast included. For dinners, the menu is posted and you sign up for your choice of appetizer, main and dessert. Lovely quiet place with friendly helpful staff. Lush gardens, plenty of shaded seating, and colorful birds. I'd definitely recommend especially if you prefer a friendly authentic stay rather than a glitzy resort."

"Excellent! Just left the ravenala following 5 night stay. We had no compliants at all. We stayed in the adult zone where you get your own bean bag loungers on the beach. "Thank you to all the lovely staff who work here that made our stay amazing. This hotel is located about 50 minutes from the airport. It’s tucked away and great for privacy. "This hotel is a little gem on the west coast of Mauritius. All the staff on reception, in the restaurant, in housekeeping and all other staff were always welcoming, friendly and happy to assist you and give you information about the area. "Where do i start. They took me around in golf carts so i dont have to walk in the sun and heat, they had the best staff team ive met in all my life, the food was amazing not a single thing to complain about. The hotel was clean, cool and there was lots of things to do. I was helped mostly by Yash, Rajvir, Sarvesh, Atish, Ben, avi and the house keeping lady. The hotel had a games room and snooker room that i used every night, entertainment every night at the retreat, bar open all day and night and coconut stall. The spa and massage was amazing, quite expensive but was amazing. I did not walk past a single staff member without them greeting me in such a kind way and bowing their heads. I truly felt like i owned the place. The two pools were the perfect temperature at all times and were very clean. Some of the people that stayed at the hotel were very rude to the staff members and i really feel bad they received this treatment. Overall, the hotel was the best hotel ive stayed at with the most friendliest staff ever. The hospitality is unmatched. You will not regret a single thing about booking this hotel. Thank you"

"The hotel is amazing. Beautiful food at the buffets and restaurants. Some of the best I’ve had at a buffet service. Beach is beautiful. Staff are lovely and helpful. David & Mr V at the scuba place are amazing and so good at alleviating fear for first timers and making it a great experience. Not a slight as the hotel, but be careful if booking the hooneymoon option through hotels.com. The website doesn’t allow you to select package and so on arrival we were told we had only be booked as breakfast only. The system isn’t great and certainly not clear. We had to pay additional £££ for a 9 night stay to upgrade to half board, which is what we thought we had booked anyway! Long story, I’d say go direct if you’re staying here as honeymooners. "
