"This is not a typical hotel or cabin stay. If you want luxury, keep looking. The food and accommodations are quite basic but serve the purpose. The real bonus about staying here is the great access to being very close to the nature of Costa Rica. "This is a beautiful ecolodge and very well managed by Pedro and his staff. Pedro goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable. Their food options are very creative and excellent especially since we were vegetarians. The place is remote and provides a true jungle experience while still having the basic amenities to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. They have well organized guided walks both at night and during the day, several of them covered within the reservation. "

"The setting is lovely with beautiful trails and riverside-views. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, setting up tours and answering questions. The food was top notch with great plant-forward options. The riverside room had AC which was an added perk. Although the room itself was fairly basic, it was very clean and met our needs to be able to enjoy the surroundings. "
