"This was a good resort to stay compared to some of the smaller resorts in town. A bit removed, but walkable. Free shuttle to town was very good. Lots of stairs up to some of the room (77 by my count). Just be sure you know this before booking. Breakfast was great. Buffet plus ordering off the menu. Pool and deck facilities were great as well. "Palais Juliana is a bit faraway from the city center. More a business than a vacation place. The hotel could use some renovation. Limited dining services. Transfer included from and to the airport is convenient, as well as the possibility of a free shuttle around Luang Prabang. "
