"Palais Juliana is a bit faraway from the city center. More a business than a vacation place. The hotel could use some renovation. Limited dining services. Transfer included from and to the airport is convenient, as well as the possibility of a free shuttle around Luang Prabang. "

"The setting of this hotel is stunning - you can see the rice fields from the lobby and the pools. This was the highlight of our Laos trip. Check in staff (and all staff we encountered) were so friendly and we really appreciated an upgrade to a bigger room and a cake for my birthday! The only thing I'd really recommend the hotel improving (or guests staying away from) is the western food which was weird and not great.
