As we arrived there were 3 plumbing vans parked outside so had to park out side another cottage for bout hour n half till they moved their vans after going in pub at front of cottages before parking own car then outside our own cottage. "Not impressed. It is very misleading that they charge an extra fee per day to use the health club facilities, but the hotel picture is of the pool! They want you to book direct by all means. I did not notice the surcharge coming up in the description as you have to scroll all the way down to see it. Room was OK, both shower and sink starting to clog. Staff at the entrance was not friendly at all, she said they have nothing to do with the pictures Hotels.com choose to promote the hotel. Not a...

"It’s a lovely hotel and very convenient stop. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We only had breakfast but it was delicious and plenty of it. The decor was lovely but needed a bit of tidying and the vase on the table needed a clean. I’m not keen on fake flowers which gather dust and the winter sun shows the glass vase needing a polish. I’m being picky hoping I’m being helpful. It was a fab stay and I thoroughly recommend it and would stay again. "
