"The staff was great with helping out. The property was clean and quiet. Dining options are within 1-2 miles or less. Variety of options less than a mile away. Near convenience stores. Easy route to the Ferry Building and Pier 39. A little more of a walk to Pier 43 1/2. Great centralized location. Easy to commute from whether it is Lyft, Uber, Waymo or Muni."

"We absolutely loved this hotel! From the friendly service of the staff to the small unique touches like a milk and cookie hour at the front desk for all hotel guests. There was so much to do at the hotel with not just the swimming pool but a whole game area for guests to use. They also had a nice breakfast and snack area as well to grab a quick bite to eat. It was close to transportation and they assisted us in getting to the right area. Also if you are staying there ask for Aia at the front desk, she was fantastic and have us so many great recommendations food around the area."

"Our fourth annual trip to the city and once again we booked our room at the Handlery, and once again they did not disappoint! Very convenient and affordable location in Union Square!! Room was clean and very quiet easy to walk and enjoy the holiday spirit of the city! "

"Stay there with a friend , plenty places to eat around and we felt pretty safe despite being in Union Square, parking is close but we decided to take uber to go dancing . Room was clean and we slept good , we were in a high floor so really didn’t hear any particular noise . Staff was just fine , polite . "
