"When we arrived the taxi could not even get us close to this property. It is up a very steep long hill. Extremely steep then 45 stairs to reach the unit we were supposed to be in for three nights. There was an old bed with large springs digging into your body one small blanket for a double size bed on a queen so hard to cover two people properly. Ancient tv with no channels. No proper shower just a hose in the room with the toilet and a drain in the floor. Broken old closets and cupboards....

"rooms are very quiet... Mine had noise protection over the window which means no view but a lot of quietness and darkness which I like. there is a restaurant downstairs and also many in the area. Bars are nearby but not too close to be noisy. You can walk to the beach from here... And if you want a supermarket there's a macro"

"Our stay at the Pullman was nothing short of amazing. The place is massive with multiple pools restaurants etc. heaps going on if you want that. Close to Karon Beach main centre for shopping etc. we had a room on the 12 floor overlooking the ocean. Amazing views with balcony, great room with bar fridge, tea coffee, water etc. good bathroom with bathtub. Comfy clean bed. Very quiet at night too. Special mention to all the super friendly staff. They can't do enough for you. In room food service was great too. Very special mention to our daily room cleaners Chompoo, Tang and Patty. They kept our room stocked up and spotless every day. If you need it they will sort it. Definitely return here for a holiday. Some advice. Use a translation app when asking for things as sometimes your request can get lost in translation. Prices are very reasonable too across the resort."

"We had an amazing experience staying at Centara Grand Beach Resort. The hotel management is exceptional, and every staff member I interacted with was professional, well-trained, and courteous. I would especially like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Risa for her kindness, thorough explanations, and outstanding politeness. She truly went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and memorable. The overall service quality, attention to detail, and the warm hospitality of the staff made my stay absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Phuket. "The staff are very nice and go out of their way to take care of you. Food was good for breakfast and lunch at their international cuisine restaurant. The beach is just lovely and not too crowded. Pools are nice though not heated (which is standard for the area i think). Only con was that the room is quite dated and the bed creaked every time i turned in it. Bathrooms are updated but not well kept. An update could really help. "

The Westin Siray Bay Resort & Spa, Phuket

"We had a great time at this beautiful place. The amenities are amazing and made our stay very comfortable. We loved the pools, the beach, our son really enjoyed his time at the kids club. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. They booked our transportation to Phi Phi island for us and they offer free shuttle service to the old town and Patong beach. The only negatives for us would be, the hotel restaurants are a bit overpriced and the exterior is getting run-down."
