"Lovely hotel and really can’t fault it. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room very clean and comfortable and a variety of soft/hot drinks and snacks available at no extra cost. We didn’t have breakfast there so can’t comment on that. Ate in the restaurant one night and had a great meal - again staff very attentive and friendly. Close to the centre, shops and river. Only word of warning would be do not park at their recommended car park in Pepper Street, it’s a dreadful car park with tiny spaces...

"We weren’t informed before arrival that there was on-going maintenance in the reception area. A temporary reception was located in the building next door & if it wasn’t for a note on the entrance door then we wouldn’t have known. Booked a ‘comfortable double room’ & it clearly stated 1x double bed; I got 2x single beds (see photos for more). I wasn’t impressed with the bathroom door, it was translucent, anybody the other side of the door could clearly see in. There was no privacy- no lock on...

The room looked to be clean on anrrival but around the edges was full of dust and the bathroom again just needed that little extra touch. Check in was easy and friendly. Bonus was free parking.
