"We only stayed 1night. I wish we could have stayed a little longer to take advantage of the spa. It’s a beautifully repurposed old compound with thoughtful architecture & engineering. My only complaint was the hallway light kept flashing on and off -visible through our room window and it kept us awake all night. It would be perfect if the Parador could shade the hallway windows better at night."

"We were booked for the weekend- Thu, Fri and Sat nights… the room was in front of the lift so all the bus groups kept coming in and out very loudly very early each morning. Right outside the hotel there is a neighborhood pub which serves food and has very friendly staff. Near historic center of Alcalá de Henares. Birthplace don Miguel de Cervantes. About an 1hour away from central Madrid on the metro which we used. Round trip for was €13.60. We would stay here again. "

"If you dislike being trapped in a hotel room, then this is the place for you. Self catering but with the enhanced security of being in a supervised complex. Plenty of parking for a vehicle. The staff were outstandingly good. Reception, housekeeping, maintenance, all deserve a mention for their efficiency, courteousness and politeness. No complaints at all. Thank you for an enjoyable 8 day stay. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Complutum Hostel! So artsy and cool just like in the photos. Its in steps away from historic sites and literally across the street from a gorgeous old spanish court adorned with lush gardens. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The cafe serves delicious food. The a la carte breakfast at the cafe was wonderful! Fresh squeezed orange juice, quiche and baked goods. YES they squeezed the juice right in front of us!
